Sherie Avalos, Chief Executive Officer

Sherie joined Share Care in March 2009 as Chief Executive Officer. Sherie has 17 years experience in the disability sector, working across a variety of roles in a number of settings. Over the past 12 years, she has worked at a senior management level within the disability employment and community services areas. In this time she has developed a firm understanding of the issues facing individual organisations and the sector at large, in terms of service delivery, management and high level policy and compliance. Currently she is the Chair of National Disability Services (NDS), NSW Children’s, Young People and their Families Sub Committee and member of the NDS National Committee on Children’s, Young People and their Families.  Sherie values spending her weekends out and about with her family, including enjoying the delights of local cafes.

Graham Moore, Executive Manager Client and Service Delivery

Graham joined Share Care in June 2008 as the Executive Manager. Graham comes from a finance/ business background and he has recently completed a degree in psychology. Graham’s role involves the overall management of the Service Delivery team, compliance and implementation of the Strategic Plan.  Graham takes pleasure in playing and coaching soccer, whilst enjoying the outdooors with his family.

Peter Wood, Executive Manager Corporate Services

Peter joined Share Care in October 2008 as the Executive Manager Corporate Services. Peter is a qualified Accountant and has a long experience in the public sector, most recently holding a senior role with Centrelink. Peter’s role involves financial management and control, fleet management, premises management and general operational management.  Peter is a keen guitar player, enjoys playing golf and following Essendon in the AFL.

Amanda Hreszczuk, Executive Assistant

Amanda recently joined Share Care in February 2010 as the Executive Assistant . Amanda is a qualified Speech Pathologist and has a wealth of experience working with children with disabilities, as well as staff and business management.  Amanda will continue to provide direct assistance to the CEO in the areas of governance and management, sector development, internal administration, auditing and redesign.  Amanda thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, as well as shopping and as a result, has a vast amount of clothing and shoes.
